Mission: The Office of Title IX promotes institutional compliance, education, and collaboration to encourage a safe, responsive, and supportive environment at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ.
Title IX
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Title IX protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive federal financial assistance.
Title IX states: "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance."
Regarding Sex-Based Discrimination and Sexual Misconduct, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ abides by the revised , effective August 12, 2025.
When sex-based discrimination/misconduct does occur, all members of the MGA community are strongly encouraged to report it promptly through the procedures outlined in this Policy.
Filing a Report or Formal Complaint for Sex-Based Discrimination/Misconduct
Any individual may make a report, but the institution does not have notice of the report until information is known to a Responsible Employee or the Title IX Coordinator. The report may be made directly to the Title IX Coordinator in multiple formats to include: writing, email, phone, letter, fax, interview, or other method that provides the basis of the complaint of sexual misconduct. There is no specific information required to constitute a report; however, the report should contain as much information as can be provided.
