| Biography: | Ashley holds advanced degrees in Library Information Science and Archival Studies from Valdosta State and Clayton State Universities, respectively. As a recognized Certified Archivist, she is dedicated to fostering collaboration and user engagement in the importance of university archives and the Public History profession. Since joining ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ (MGA) in 2019, Ashley has transitioned from being the Electronic Resources Librarian to the role of Archivist as of 2024. She teaches an "Introduction to Archives" elective course when available, where students learn archival practices and how to identify historically significant records for preservation. In her free time, Ashley enjoys creative pursuits such as sewing, reading, and gaming, and spending time with her loved ones |
