Macon Campus Writing Center Events

The Writing Center at MGA has been certified as part of The Center Acknowledgment and Recognition of Excellence (CARE) program.

CARE certifies writing centers that are committed to literacy, learning, and writing. The CARE program establishes professional criteria relevant to diverse local contexts, providing writing centers the opportunity to articulate their unique stories and celebrate their accomplishments. Currently, CARE is the only certification by the writing center community for the writing center community. The program is sponsored by the Southeastern Writing Center Association (SWCA).

All students and all majors are welcome!

The MGA Writing Center is a free service that provides one-on-one consultations to assist students with all types of writing. Our consultants provide feedback and use different strategies to help students improve their writing.

MGA Writing Centers are open for face-to-face and video-conferencing options in Macon and Cochran. Video conferences are available for the Dublin, Eastman, and Warner Robins campuses.
